Symbolism
Brick red and golden yellow are used for Transportation. The divided brick red background with wavy blue base refers to the land and water transportation terminal activities. The Battalion's speed and service in the transfer of personnel and cargo at established water terminals is depicted by the legendary sea-horse bearing a gold disk which alludes to the wheels of transportation supported by the organization.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 25 April 1967.
